I am leaving my vacation story on this post b/c I can't write a message on the other one. It says disabled, I hope this doesn't disqualify me. I liked Hawaii, but wait there's more... Visiting Hawaii in May of 2008 was my favorite vacation because not only did we get married, but we honeymooned for two weeks visiting all the islands. It was a surreal experience that I look back upon and feel as though it was a dream. We were on the Hawaiian islands for over two weeks including the wedding and we had beautiful weather every since day. We were there for so long it began to feel like home, our vacation had turned into our daily life. There aren't really any crazy animals there so we'd leave the windows and balcony doors open every night and awake to the sun shining in, the sound of waves rolling and the smell of pineapples in the air (true story). While in Hawaii we watched the sun set and rise, hiked one of National Geographic’s 10 places to see in the world, visited 5 Islands including the land of the lepers, rode in a helicopter over the ocean, ate a lot of sushi and pineapples, biked 20 miles down a volcano and got tattoos symbolizing our love. Hawaii holds a special place in my heart and the the nostalgic smell of pineapples reminds of that.
