  1. Thanks SO much! You make it look easy...hoping I can get even somewhat similar results!! Do you apply eyeliner on upper and lower and also what mascara do you use?? (and do you use a dark or super black mascara/liner??)
Thanks again...was so happy you took time to post this!

  2. I have tons and tons of different eyeliners. But... The ones I use just about everyday are the Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliners, and the Revlon color stay Eyeliner Crayon. I only use liquid on the top lash line, and if I line the bottom lash line I'll only go about 2/3 of the way in. B/c of my oily skin, bottom eyeliner tends to run down my face. I usually use the brown color (I have the black, but it's a little harsh for everyday/school). To set the eyeliner (so it stays all day) I take the small crease brush (that came in the duo from CVS mentioned in the post) and using the darkest color eyeshadow I used, I just trace over my eyeliner. Then curl my lashes, and apply Blackest Black mascara. I use a bunch of different brands. My favorites are Maybelline Lash Stilleto (the regular not the voluptous), Maybelline Colossal (in the yellow tube), and L'Oreal's Hip mascara. I prefer all of them equally, as long the color is the darkest black I can find. But that's just a personal preferance. I hope this helps!

Just saw this tutorial, and I have to say, it's making me want to go out and purchase the Cover Girl palette in "Shimmering Sands!"

Quick question though, what eyeshadow did you use to create the outer "V"? I didn't catch it...

    Thanks for the tutorial! :)

    Hi Merbella-
That particular eyeshadow is a NYX Single Eyeshadow, the color is either Root Beer or Dark Brown. I'm sorry I don't remember exactly. They are so similar, but Root Beer has just a tiny bit of shimmer... However, for this look, and dark brown eyeshadow will do.
