When I woke up at 7:30 on Thursday morning, my left eye was twitching. The twitch continued to bug me throughout the day. I had to drive with one eye closed because the fluttering of my lower-inner-eyelid was causing my vision to go blurry. When the condition continued all day Friday, I decided to seek professional guidance.
"Stress."
Stress was the supposed cause of the obnoxius twitch. Doesn't that seem like the unhelpful answer to everything? What do I have to be stressed about? I like my job, and it's fairly easy, school is going well this semester, my bills are all paid and all of my friendships and family relationships are going well. I don't think I have anyss stress.
Yesterday I decided to tackle the mysterious stress. I did a session of my new Turbo Fire cardio DVDs. I took a luxurious Lush bath. I went for a calm walk in the sunshine and took lots of deep breaths. I even got a mani/pedi. By the end of the day, I was as relaxed as anyone could be.
When I woke up this morning, twich, twitch, twitch! This is slowly going to drive me crazy.
I've heard that the twitch is because of being overly tired. I get it too and it seems to be when I'm running on very little sleep!

ReplyDeleteThat makes sense, I haven't been sleeping at all lately!
