Who's Lars from Norway?

I think I am the last person in the world to see the movie (500 Days of Summer) .  I ditched out on work early today to go to the dentist.  I was "interested in a second opinion/consultation," as it stated on my new patient information sheet.  You see, I recently went to a dentist when I got new insurance through my work.  After my check up, one dentist told me I would need a filling.  When I went back for my cleaning and subsequent filling, a different dentist informed me that a filling would not do, but I would in fact need a crown.

A crown!  At my age?!?  I'm too young for a crown, and I take really good care of my teeth; there's no way I need that level of oral treatment!  As all of these thoughts were running through my head, the two dentists got into an argument about who was right.  It was then I decided to get a second... err, third opinion.  So, I went to my old dentist, who I love and, luckily, is a provider for my insurance.

The verdict?  The tooth is fine.  I didn't need a filling and absolutely not a crown.  Just a little polish with an electric buffer and the problem spot was gone.  Lesson learned: Always get a second opinion before having any work done.

Anyway, since the trip took a total of ten minutes, I headed home and popped in the movie.  I was completely captivated by the eclectic variety of music, the clothing, the humor.  It was perfect, and easily one of my new favorites!  Colby, you NEED to see it.

PS.  Does anyone else get creeped out by how much Joseph Gordon-Levitt looks like Heath Ledger?
PPS.  Answer to the the title question is: "He's some guy she met at the gym with Brad Pitt's face and Jesus' abs"

  1. What was the dentists reasoning for you needing a crown??? If the cavity was ginormous and was taking away 3 of your 4 cusps, than maybe. But for it to only needing a polish, that dentist was ridiculous. Good thing you got a 3rd opinion!!

I'm going to guess that they both were fresh out of Dental School- I was WAY older than both of them - and they had the NICEST, high tech office I've ever seen, for any profession.
